It was great to get back together in person for the annual 100 Grand Show at Sullivan Goss Gallery in Santa Barbara! This annual group show features approximately 100 artists working in various mediums, with all works priced at $1,000 or less. It’s a fun and eclectic exhibit that runs from early December through January. The pandemic wasn’t really over, and people were still wary of crowds, but some came out for the reception and it was busy enough, but not too crowded!

My piece this year, Magnolia Bloom, is 6 x 8″ gouache painting. The magnolia tree that inspired it lives down the street, and is one of the largest I’ve ever seen. Every year, the flowers are amazing.
